Pink or Blue makes hiring a breastpump easy and hassle free. The pump will be delivered to you, along with the necessary equipment for use with the electric breastpump. We also stock a large range of breastfeeding accessories and essentials for you and your new baby.
Included will be a comprehensive information package containing information on using the breastpump, expressing and storage of breastmilk.
The breastpump will be collected from you at the end of the hire period.
MEDELA SYMPHONY
The Symphony breastpump is the latest in the range of Medela hospital grade breastpumps.The Symphony offers the first and only 2-phase expression technology.
This mimics the way babies suckle at the breast. Initially they suck rapidly to stimulate theMother’s milk ejection reflex (MER) and induce milk “let-down”. Once the milk starts flowing, the speed of the baby’s sucking decreases for the actual feeding phase. The unique combination of the stimulation and expression phase has set a new benchmark in breastpump design.
You will need to purchase a personal collection kit for use with the Hire of a Symphony Electric Breastpump. You have three purchase options available:
$115.001. Harmony breastpump & adapter to use with Symphony breastpump - HBP-001
(when you return the Symphony breastpump you have a quality hand pump for your personal use) Recommended.
$58.002. Symphony collection kit - single - SCK-001
(for use with symphony electric breastpump. Cannot be used as a hand pump after hire)

LACTINA
Classic Medela pump suitable for long term and frequent pumping.
You will need to purchase a personal collection kit for use with the Hire of the Lactina Electric Breastpump. You have three purchase options available to you:
$120.001. Harmony breastpump and adapter to use with the lactina breastpump - HBP-002
(when you return the lactina breastpump you have a quality hand pump for your own personal use.)
$58.002. Lactaset basic piston style manual pump - single - LBP-001
(for use with Lactina electric breastpump. Can be used as a piston style hand pump after hire)
$77.003. Lactaset basic piston style manual pump - double - LBP-002
(for use with Lactina electric breastpump. Can be used as a piston style hand pump after hire)
Lactina Breastpump
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Rental of the Medela Symphony or Lactina Breastpump. You are required to purchase a milk collection kit for your own personal use.
Payment per week is based on 7 day period commencing the day the breastpump is received.
Minimum rental period is one week.
cost Symphony $35 per week for the first four weeks each week after $30 per week.
Lactina $20 per week first 4 weeks $18 per week after first 4.
A $20 service fee will be charged per rental. This includes delivery and return of the breastpump.
Deposit will be taken. $200 when hiring the Lactina, and a $200 deposit when hiring the Symphony. The deposit is refundable on return of the Breastpump complete and in working condition. A checklist will be supplied with the pump to ensure you return all parts. If any parts are lost or damaged you will be responsible for the cost of replacement.
Please NOTE the Lactina Breastpump only available for hire in NSW.
If the Medela Breastpump is lost, stolen or destroyed, you will assume full responsibility for replacement cost.
The manufacturers guidelines should be followed at all times when using the Medela Breastpump.
Pink or Blue shall not be liable for any injury arising from or relating to the hire of the Medela Symphony or Lactina Breastpump.
Pink or Blue will contact you two days prior to the end of your hire period to extend hire time or arrange for the pump to be collected by a courier.
